ANALYSIS: After missing all of the 2017 season due to injury, Anthony DeSclafani was a forgotten man in fantasy drafts this spring. Granted, it didn't help matters that he suffered an oblique strain in spring training, snuffing out any ideas some owners might have had of taking a late flier on him. Desclafani, as one might expect given that it had been nearly two calendar years since he'd thrown a pitch at the big-league level, showed some early rust and a vulnerability to the long ball. However, in his last three turns he's kept the ball in the yard and allowed just two runs across 21 2/3 innings.
Overall, Tony Disco is 6-3 with a 4.12 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 64 strikeouts in 74 innings. He's free to add in three-quarters of Yahoo leagues at the moment.
