BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 29% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It's fair to assume it's happening: back-to-back weeks with 11+ PPR points from Wan'Dale Robinson (and good QB play by Daniel Jones!) are confirming the suspicions. Robinson is a legitimate fantasy player and should be on your WW radar at least for the upcoming few weeks and unless things changed a lot in the future he should stay rostered ROS.
Robinson got just one target in Week 1 (he caught it for five yards though) and then disappeared until coming back in Week 6 to put up the 29th-best WR performance of that weekend. The outcome: a three-of-four catching for 37 yards and a touchdown good for 12.7 PPR points against the Ravens.
The Giants faced Jacksonville away from home last Sunday and boasting a thin receiving corps once more, Robinson was the best player of the unit for the second weekend running. Not literally. Darius Slayton scored 14.8 PPR points in W7 to Robinson's 11.0, but you get where I come from.
Robinson has 12 targets in the past two games combined. He's turned nine of those in receptions for a total of 87 yards and a score, and a 23.7 PPR fantasy tally. Richie James is the only receiver in the Giants roster to have appeared in all seven games this season but he's scored just 37.7 total PPR points for a meager average of 5.4 FPPG. Slayton and Robinson are tied at 8.4 FPPG each through four and three games played respectively.
The snap counts don't lie: Robinson has gone from appearing in 9 (15%) in W1, to 15 (23%) in W6, to a dominant 53 (70%) in W7. Slayton has appeared in at least 54% of the Giants' snaps in all past four weeks but he's averaged 4.5 targets per game, definitely not a road-blocking figure when it comes to Robinson's viability going forward.
Don't chase Wan'Dale Robinson in any sort of crazy way or in sallow leagues, but consider him a fancy WR3/FLEX play going forward and as long as Daniel Jones can keep up his game/NYG keeps missing WRs.
