The status of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck for Sunday night’s game against the New England Patriots is still questionable but trending upwards. Luck’s shoulder injury looks to be improving as he was a full participant in Friday's practice.
Colts beat writers stated Luck likely wouldn’t play on Sunday unless he was able to participate in a full practice this week which makes this even more wonderful news. Indianapolis head coach Chuck Pagano admitted there’s a “good chance” Luck will play against the Patriots. While Luck has struggled against New England in the past, the defense is not impressive this year and Luck has enough weapons to put up points in what should be a shootout.
Luck returning will add to the value of wide receivers T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief. The odd man out may be Andre Johnson as he struggled immensely with Luck before having his best game of the season with backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. Luck developed chemistry with Moncrief during the first few weeks of the season and the young receiver could be a great sneaky play this week.
