Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck returned to the starting lineup on Sunday in a loss to the New England Patriots. Luck missed the prior two games due to a shoulder injury and struggled in the first few weeks of the season. Fantasy owners who selected Luck in the first round of drafts have been dealing with the headache of wondering if they’d be able to trust their stud quarterback again.
Luck passed for 312 yards with three touchdown passes and zero interceptions. The Colts suffered a loss to the superior Patriots team but seeing Luck look like an elite fantasy quarterback gives hope he’ll return to what we expect on a weekly basis. Luck showed great chemistry with wide receivers Donte Moncrief and T.Y. Hilton once again. Andre Johnson was the odd man out and takes a hit in fantasy value after his best game of the season with Matt Hasselbeck as quarterback.
The Colts have a great matchup next week against the New Orleans Saints and Luck should have another game of twenty or more fantasy points. Unless you’re one of the rare teams to strike gold with Carson Palmer or Andy Dalton, there should be zero hesitation of inserting Luck back into your quarterback position every week.
