ANALYSIS:  It is a shame that we don't get to enjoy Drummond in full these days, even more considering the man is still to turn 30 years of age and in the middle of his prime. It is what it is for an old-school big man that should consider himself lucky to be around the Association these days.

The truth is that Drummond is, north and south and pound for pound, the best rebounder ever in the history of the L. I'm not entering any discussion about this. There, I said it. Argument settled. Drummond is only an off-the-pine asset for the Bulls this season after he signed with them to play basketball in Chicago last summer.

Drummond has appeared in all six games played through Friday and he's averaging 9 PPG and 10+ RPG with one block and nearly one steal a pop. Drummond and Bobby Portis are the only two players averaging at least 10 rebounds through Friday without having started a single game this season. Portis is doing it in 24 MPG compared to Drummond's 17 MPG.

So far, Drummond has logged fewer than 18 minutes in five of his six games played but he's coming off his longer outing against the Spurs on Friday: 23 minutes off the bench with gaudy numbers. Dru put up 17 pops, 14 boards, 2 dimes, 3 steals, and only one turnover while shooting 67% on 12 FGA from the field.

The usage tells you Dr. Dre is only a hit-and-miss type of player in Chicago with some games into the 24+ USG% and other below the average 20% even as part of the second unit. Good for fantasy GMs, Drummond is not one to target if you're needy on the points front, but rather on the boards where he finds his mojo at.

Four games for Drummond with 10+ rebounds and the two others with 5 and 7 paint a rather nice picture of what to expect from Drummond ROS.
