ANALYSIS: Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has been one of the top offensive players since the second half of his rookie season. Despite being a fourth-round NFL Draft pick, the wide receiver has been a fantasy superstar. St. Brown is the WR9 for the year, averaging 15.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
He has built an outstanding connection with Jared Goff. The star wide receiver has 87 receptions on 123 targets for 1,063 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season, all team-highs.
Last week was the first time that St. Brown didn’t score at least 11.2 fantasy points this year. The Chicago Bears have played outstanding defense over the past few weeks. However, fantasy players should expect the wide receiver to bounce back tonight.
The Denver Broncos have one of the top pass defenses in the NFL but have struggled with explosive offenses like Detroit. Over the past two weeks, the Broncos have surrendered 2.6 fantasy points per reception to wide receivers despite giving up only one receiving touchdown.
Fantasy players should start St. Brown with confidence tonight in a critical matchup for the Lions.
