Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has missed the past several weeks with a hamstring injury and his status for Week 6 is still up in the air. However, Jeffery seems to be moving in the right direction. He was a limited participant in practice on Thursday and he says he "I feel a lot better than last week."
For the past couple of weeks it was believed that Jeffery would make his return to the football field in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. It sounds like that's still a strong possibility, but pay close attention to his status on Sunday morning before submitting him in your final starting lineups.
If Jeffery does play he can be considered a WR2 until he proves healthy. Once we know he's healthy he'll likely elevate himself to WR1 status.
