The bye week means several things for NFL teams. It’s an opportunity for players with minor injuries to have additional rest before returning to action. The quick break also gives players a breather from the intense grind during the season.
For coaches, it’s a chance to recalibrate their strategy to improve their winning chances. The work continues as they prepare for opponents in the upcoming weeks. Meanwhile, fans also get a breather in rabidly rooting for their favorite squad.
Here are the bye weeks for every team in the 2024 NFL season. Each team gets one bye week per season, and the league determines them without set rules. If the NFL does extend the regular season to 18 games, there’s a chance that all teams get two bye weeks.
