BALLER MOVE: Add
ROSTERED IN: 62% of leagues
ANALYSIS: While he's already rostered in a majority of Sleeper leagues, Las Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison is still a solid waiver wire add ahead of Week 8. He has a horrendous matchup in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he's had enough touchdown and pass-catching upside to be worth rostering.
Alexander Mattison was the lead back even with Zamir White back
- 69% snaps
- 23 carries, 92 yards
- 20 routes, 3 targets, 3 rec, 31 yardsThat is 123 total yards and 15.3 fantasy points

It's important to note that he still shares the backfield in a committee with Zamir White (groin), and that White was probably limited in his return due to injury. Overall, we've clearly seen Mattison outperform White this season. It's interesting that White's situation closely mirrored Mattison's 2023 season with the Vikings.
The former Viking seems to be usurping the role of the lifelong Raider in the backfield, thus making White this year's Mattison and Mattison replacing this year's Mattison. It's a funny situation. Regardless, No. 22 has four total touchdowns and 17 receptions this year.

In softer matchups, he'll be worth starting, and that's what matters. Next week he should be left on the bench, but he's worth adding to your roster and stashing for now.
