BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 46% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Alexander Mattison and the Las Vegas Raiders are in quite a unique position through three games of the 2024 NFL season, as they have two running backs who are capable of leading their backfield and have made no commitment to play either consistently.
Zamir White, who entered the season as the team’s RB1, has split snaps almost equally with Mattison. As the young season progresses though, it is becoming more clear that Mattison will eventually emerge as the Raiders’ lead back, at least in terms of fantasy value.
While neither player has played extraordinarily well, Mattison has been on the field in more important situations. For example, Mattison has been the Raiders’ number-one back on third downs and in the red zone. The Raiders have also shown more reliance on Mattison's receiving than White, as he has been targeted nine times compared to White's six.

With that being said, Mattison is a must-add in all deep fantasy leagues. Originally considered a backup running back, Mattison consistently sees the field weekly and accumulates both rushing and receiving yards. His value will only go up from here, so fantasy managers should add him as soon as possible.
