BALLER MOVE: Start if Zamir White (groin) doesn't play
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/RB4
ANALYSIS: Las Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison is one of the more frustrating fantasy players to own this season. He's been extremely boom or bust. Granted, the booms haven't been huge, but when he's the lead back, he's at least somewhat startable. He scored 17.1 PPR fantasy points last week.
Alexander Mattison can be used in deeper leagues or if you are flat out desperate at the RB position.
It starts with Bowers, then Meyers, but I think Mattison can have some decent RB2 weeks thanks to his pass catching ability.
Zamir White ain’t it.

"Lead" running back Zamir White (groin) has not played well, but the coaching staff continued to feed him volume before he got hurt. Mattison has been a very inefficient runner like White, which doesn't look to be changing soon. The main draws of the former Viking are his pass-catching usage and goal-line opportunities.
Luke Getsy alluded to Alexander Mattison continuing to see reps as the lead back even with Zamir White returning from injury.
“He’s earned all of his opportunities.”#Raiders

Even if White does return and Mattison continues to see lead reps, he may need more volume than he'll get in that role to be fantasy-relevant. For now, he's a fine start in PPR if his backfield mate misses another game due to his injury. The presence of both could make him too inconsistent to trust, though.
