ANALYSIS: I’m hopping back on the Alex Smith train this week. Smith exceeded expectations against the Denver defense this week. Peyton Manning and Charcandrick West helped him out a lot -- but at the end of the day, he had solid points. He has now had at least 13 points in every matchup except his first with Denver.
The Chargers have allowed 16 passing touchdowns and have just five interceptions this season. You can feel fairly certain that Alex Smith and his three interceptions this season will make it through the game without making a mistake. In fact, Smith has now gone six straight games without an interception. Expect something in the range of 15-17 fantasy points this week.
