BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 10% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Remember this guy? Alex Dickerson got a little deep-league love back in 2016 after putting up a .788 OPS, 10 homers, and five stolen bases in a half-season with the Padres. Then he fell off the face of the earth, missing the next two seasons with a bulging disk in his back and a torn ulnar collateral ligament. He caught on with the Giants this year, and certainly doesn't look rusty. The 29-year-old has hit an absurd .352/.410/.670 with five homers and 43 R+BI in 35 games for San Francisco, playing a major role in their recent surprising surge to respectability.
While expecting Dickerson to sustain this performance level is silly, his batted ball data suggests that a large portion of his production could be legitimate. Simply put, dude is crushing the ball right now, and there's zero reason for the Giants not to keep playing him every day at this point.
