BALLER MOVE: Add In AL Only Leagues and Very Deep Mixed Leagues
ANALYSIS: Owned in a whopping 21% of Yahoo fantasy baseball leagues, Alejandro De Aza is probably a tad bit undervalued considering he is just 2 seasons removed from a .281 / 9 /50 /81 /26 season. That's right kids, and how about if we told you that he sneakily powered up for 17 bombs and 62 RBI last season while still maintaining a .264 batting average (almost profiles like Carlos Gomez's come up seasons, except that De Aza is no spring chicken at 30 years young). Ultimately, he has the playing time opportunity (due to the number of injuries and days off needed in the Sox outfield), and has been getting pretty regular plate appearances (vital if you want to roster a hitter). Since this is fantasy baseball and all that matters is "what have you done for me lately", let us also highlight his .382 / 1 / 6 /5 / 2 slash line from the past 14 days; not too shabby for a guy available on so many waiver wires across the North American continent (yes Canada, we see and recognize you too!). If you are in need of a fantasy shakeup, and can use a player that can easily fill up the offensive stat sheet on any night, then give your boy Alejandro a go and see if you can strike lightning in a bottle.
