ANALYSIS: While the Los Angeles Angels version of Albert Pujols is a shell of his former Cardinals' self, he is still a productive fantasy player given that he has hit at least 23 home runs and knocked in at least 95 RBI in each of the past four seasons. So far this season, Pujols already has three homers to go with six RBI and eight runs scored all while sporting a more than respectable .284 average. While his .304 OBP leaves something to be desired, he is not on anyone's fantasy rosters to walk.
Do not make any mistake, at 38 years old, Pujols is not about to revert back to MVP form. However, hitting in the cleanup spot in a lineup that features Justin Upton, Shohei Ohtani and of course, the one and only Mike Trout, Pujols could certainly up his average and RBI totals, especially given the Angels' hot start.
