Across 97 games at Reno, the backstop sits with a dominant .323/.403/.609 slash line, 23 home runs, 35 doubles, 66 RBI, and a 48:74 BB:K ratio. He is currently riding a stellar eight-game hitting streak with an incredible .433/.528/.833 line.

This is a great sign as the Miami product posted a modest .248/.340/.350 line with just two home runs and 23 RBI in his first look at Triple-A ball last season.
Del Castillo could also get a look at the big leagues to bring some power production behind the dish that the Diamondbacks have been lacking this season. Gabriel Moreno has hit for a .258 AVG with four home runs and backup Jose Herrera has yet to go deep.
If Del Castillo continues to stay hot at Triple-A, he could be called up to the desert very soon.
