BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~162 Overall
CURRENT ADP: ~171
ANALYSIS: Adonai Mitchell was taken in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts to help bolster their wide receiver room.
Mitchell had a big junior year at Texas, catching 55 balls for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has the type of speed to stretch the field and should line up on the outside with Michael Pittman Jr. while Josh Downs operates in the slot.
The Colts offense will be called by Shane Steichen once again, and many are counting on Steichen being able to pull the right strings to maximize Anthony Richardson's potential in the passing game.
If that ends up being the case, then we could see Jonathan Taylor, Pittman Jr., Downs, and Mitchell all have big seasons for fantasy managers and the Colts could surprise folks as a contender for the AFC South title.
The Indianapolis Colts have made it a priority to get the ball to rookie Round 2 WR Adonai Mitchell this preseason.

Currently, Josh Downs is dealing with an ankle injury that may linger into the season. That could help Mitchell get off to a fast start this season and ensure that he's firmly on Anthony Richardson's radar. He already caught a touchdown pass from Richardson in the preseason and has looked sharp in limited action.
Mitchell could end up being a solid WR3, WR4, or flex play this season, he's easily worth a look late in drafts.
