BALLER MOVE: Sit in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR61
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell was a popular sleeper candidate entering the year. Unfortunately, the rookie is only the WR96 for the year, averaging 2.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. While many expected the former Texas star to be the No. 2 wide receiver opposite Michael Pittman Jr., Alec Pierce has filled the role over the first two weeks.
Furthermore, Mitchell’s fantasy outlook took another hit this week, with Josh Downs expected to make his season debut tomorrow against the Chicago Bears. The second-year receiver hasn’t played because of a high-ankle sprain he suffered in training camp. Mitchell will revert to the No. 4 wide receiver role and have difficulty earning snaps and targets.
Josh Downs (ankle) not listed on injury report for Week 3.

Therefore, fantasy players should avoid starting the rookie receiver in any format this week. Not only will he struggle to see targets, but Mitchell also has an awful matchup. The Bears have one of the top pass defenses in the NFL, giving up only 21 receptions for 268 receiving yards and one touchdown to wide receivers this season, with Nico Collins accounting for most of that production.

BALLER MOVE: Start POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2/WR3 ANALYSIS: While Houston, Texas, wide receiver Stefon Diggs didn't do well in Week 2, he was still targeted six times each game and hauled in two touchdowns in Week 1. Courtland Sutton - Week 3 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/WR4 ANALYSIS: Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is off to a slow start to 2024, primarily because the Broncos offense is absolutely horrible. QB Bo Nix has been abysmal, logging just 5.0 yards per pass attempt and four interceptions with a passer rating of 51.0. Additionally, fellow Broncos WR […]

BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: WR51 ANALYSIS: Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney was one of my favorite fantasy football sleepers this year. BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: WR46 ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks has been a solid option for fantasy players since joining the team last year. Unfortunately, the veteran does have some up-and-down performances. Last week, he had only two targets, catching both for 19 receiving yards and 2.6 half-point […]

He is the RB27 over the first two weeks, averaging 10.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran has an impressive Week 1 […]
