Earlier today, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers ended his almost three-year streak of not throwing an interception at Lambeau Field. Rodgers was picked off by St. Louis Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis in the first quarter of the Packers' 24-10 win over the Rams, and he didn't stop there. On only his seventh pass after throwing the first pick, Rodgers threw another interception to Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson.
Rodgers' last interception at Lambeau Field prior to today's game against the Rams was on Dec. 2, 2012, when he was picked by Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith. Between then and Rodgers' interception to Laurinaitis earlier today, Rodgers had thrown 586 consecutive passes and 49 touchdowns without throwing an interception. Today marked Rodgers' first multi-interception game at home since Week 7 of the 2010 season, and only the fourth time in his career that he has thrown two picks in a home game.
Rodgers ended the game with 241 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and one lost fumble. Rodgers and the Packers play the San Diego Chargers next week at Lambeau Field.
