BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones had a significantly poorer showing in Week 2, scoring just 8.80 PPR fantasy points after dropping 18.90 on the Giants in Week 1. However, he was facing the tough 49ers defense. Starting running backs in fantasy against San Francisco is always risky business.
Jones still possesses great burst, speed, acceleration, and vision and is an excellent route runner. When he and Darnold have more time to work together and build chemistry, Jones should be able to contribute more in the passing game. He ran a great route against the 49ers and almost had a big gain but 49ers LB Fred Warner stopped it.
Aaron Jones on a runaway route is a decent 3rd down option, but Fred Warner has it smothered.
Jalen Nailor won his route handily. If Darnold was able to somehow come back and find him open, this would have been an explosive 3rd down conversion. pic.twitter.com/ywkgdLFEPv

Not every team will be able to dominate the run game defensively or have linebackers like Warner to cover Jones on his routes, so better days should be ahead for him, as long as he can stay healthy.
He has another tough matchup this week against the Houston Texans. He logged a full practice on Thursday. If he plays on Sunday, and it looks like he will, lock him into your starting lineups unless you have a clear better option, and most teams who own Jones may not.
