BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 7% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: At 25 years old with a potent potential for power/speed production, Aaron Altherr might be just what the rebuilding Phillies squad needs in the coming seasons. He only took 41 AB in the minors this year and has had just 118 in the majors as well. In that time he has a slash line of just .229/.295/.364, but he also has four HR and five SB in all five attempts. Last season in 137 AB for Philadelphia he was able to do virtually the same thing with five HR and six SB in eight attempts, but he also had an OPS of .827. He has gotten off to a rough start, but he has consistently been a much better player in terms of contact hitting and plate discipline throughout his minor league track record, and he has always been a volume producer of power/speed. He is available in 93% of leagues, and he provides a high ceiling for those willing to take a chance.
