BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ team leagues

ANALYSIS: Due to a rash of injuries to the Marlins rotation, left-hander A.J. Puk was able to snatch a rotation spot out of spring training, the first time in his big league career in which he would work as a starter. Needless to say, it didn't go to plan as Puk was torched to the tune of a 9.22 ERA in four starts before a shoulder injury sent him to the injured list.

Since returning, the 29-year-old has been placed into a pair of high-leverage situations and has worked 1 1/3 innings of scoreless ball and even picked up a save against the Tigers on Wednesday. However, despite his eye-popping 21.5% BB%, incumbent closer Tanner Scott sports a 2.12 ERA on the season and remains the Marlins closer for the time being.
However, with Scott also sporting a 5.26 xFIP and 5.57 SIERA, an implosion seems likelier than not at this point. There's a real chance Puk could take over as the team's closer if Scott's wealth of free passes finally catches up with him, making him an add right now before he officially usurps the role.
For now, he holds value in leagues that reward holds but a closer's role is well within reach.
