BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 10% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: A.J. Puk's time as a starting pitcher for Miami will certainly be a time that's going to try to forget. He made four starts for the Marlins back in March and April and struggled mightily to throw strikes. His ERA is north of 8.00 and his WHIP is well over 2.00 as as result.
After spending over three weeks on the IL, Puk is back in the bullpen for Miami where he has had more success in his MLB career. He's made two appearances out of the bullpen since returning and was flawless in each, even earning a save against the Tigers earlier this week.
The Marlins may have discovered their future closer.

Tanner Scott remains the closer for Miami for now, and he's performed just fine so there's no reason to speculate that his job is in any immediate jeopardy. But with Miami already well out of contention this season, it wouldn't be surprising to see them focus on developing Puk as their closer of the future. He could earn at least a share of the closer responsibilities with some solid outings in the near future.
