BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: Indians outfielder Michael Brantley is one of those sleepers who caught the fantasy world's attention this year with an uptick in power. If you missed out on him, you can still the get the player that is essentially the 2012-2013 version of Brantley off the waiver wire. That of course is A.J. Pollock, who is only 22% owned in Yahoo leagues, and who has the ability to hit for average with some speed and some power. He has yet to show the speed that he exhibited in the minors when he stole 36 bases in 2011, but 20+ steals this year is very possible. Last year twelve players finished with a .280 batting average and 12+ HR and 20+ SB. The worst of that group was the very underrated Daniel Murphy (who has been great this year). A.J. Pollock should join that group this year or come very close. He isn't a must own in fantasy leagues, but if you are looking to add some speed without sacrificing average and adding some power upside, Pollock makes a great addition to your team.
