Thursday night's game features a matchup between the division rival Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. The Bengals are 7-0 and are one of the hottest teams in the NFL. The Bengals' high-powered offense is led by quarterback Andy Dalton, but he has a great supporting cast of weapons to utilize.
Dalton's clear top option in the passing game is wide receiver A.J. Green. So far this season, Green has snagged 46 passes for 649 yards and four touchdowns. Green is coming off of a strong performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, catching a whopping 11 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown. Green draws a favorable matchup Thursday due to the fact that Browns cornerback Joe Haden will likely be sidelined with a concussion. This could mean a huge game for Green against a struggling and banged-up Browns secondary.
Another prominent offensive weapon for the Bengals is running back Jeremy Hill. While Hill hasn't returned value on the second-round draft pick that most owners spent on him, he's shown flashes of brilliance and has fought hard since losing playing time to Gio Bernard. Since fumbling twice earlier in the year, Hill has been smart with the football and hasn't coughed it up since. Hill also received the start and the bulk of carries in last week's game against Pittsburgh, carrying 15 times compared to Bernard's one carry. Hill has a very nice matchup against the Browns defense, who have given up four straight 100-yard games to rushers (Justin Forsett, Ronnie Hillman, Todd Gurley and Chris Johnson) and are currently allowing the most yards per game to opposing running backs with an average of 147 yards.
If you're a fantasy owner of Green or Hill, they are must-starts this week. Simply put, the Browns defense is absolutely terrible and the high-powered Bengals offense should find the end zone on multiple occasions. I'm forecasting over 100 yards rushing and a touchdown for Jeremy Hill and eight catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns for A.J. Green.
