Quentin Grimes Getting Closer To A Return
3 years agoNew York Knicks guard Quentin Grimes (knee) has been ramping up his workouts and is inching closer towards returning to the court. The rookie dislocated his right knee on February 25. The injury looked bad at the time as he was helped off the court by teammates, but it looks likely that Grimes will be back in action in about a week or so. Head coach Tom Thibodeau said that contact drills will be next for Grimes, while also stating, "He's moving around, he's getting closer, coming along nicely." The rookie had some strong showings in February before the injury. He hit a total of 10 three-pointers over a two-game stretch in the middle of the month. He should have a key role for the team down the stretch once he's ready.
