Evan Engram Reportedly Drawing Interest From Several Teams
3 years agoSeveral NFL teams are reportedly inquiring about New York Giants impending free-agent tight end Evan Engram as both a slot receiver and a tight end. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, they believe he's a matchup problem as a WR, which adds to his value in free agency. The 23rd pick of the 2017 NFL draft hauled in 46 passes on 73 targets for 408 yards and three touchdowns over 15 games in 2021. He owned 15% of the team's target share, 14th among all tight ends, and 4.0 yards after the catch, which ranked 30th at the position. Engram is not much of a blocker, and moving to the slot would only help his fantasy value. Depending on where he signs, the 27-year-old is considered a low-end TE2. Stay tuned for further updates.
