Look For Adam Scott To Contend This Week
3 years agoAdam Scott has his game in good form heading to The Players Championship this week. The Aussie enters this week red-hot with the putter, having gained 6.5 strokes or more putting in each of his last two starts. Additionally, Scott has gained strokes off the tee in each of his last two events. Last week, he went light off the tee to put extra emphasis on playing out of the fairway, which was a good practice run for this week. The former Masters champion also has great course history at TPC Sawgrass, including a win back in 2004.

Adam Scott Concludes Genesis Invitational With Another Top-40 Finish
1 month agoAdam Scott finished tied for 37th at last month's Genesis Invitational and is now focusing on preparing for this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational, held at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club. He has not missed a cut in any of his four starts this season, including two top-25 finishes. Scott has had mixed results at this tournament in the past; he missed the cut in 2024 and finished tied for 31st in 2023. Over the past 12 months, he has ranked in the 35th percentile for approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is significant because, at last year's Arnold Palmer Invitational, over 35% of approach shots came from this range. Given Scott's past performance at this tournament, he may be a risky choice for DFS lineups this week.

Adam Scott Is A Fun Long Shot At Genesis Invitational
2 months agoAdam Scott is 44 years old. The Australian golfer's last win was at the 2020 Genesis Invitational. He has a history of unexpected success at tournaments like the one upcoming at Torrey Pines. He has 14 wins on the PGA Tour. Also, he has consecutive Top-25 finishes in his two PGA events this 2025 season. Scott started off very slow at Pebble Beach and that cannot happen at Torrey Pines. However, it is tough to ignore that final round 64. That included six birdies on the final nine holes (which was his start). Scott is another one of those golfers who could find the conditions suitable to his game this week. That makes him a value DFS or betting choice.

Adam Scott A Boom-Or-Bust Play At Pebble Beach
2 months agoAdam Scott has played just one PGA Tour event in 2025, finishing T15 at The Sentry before heading to the Dubai Desert Classic. He now shifts his focus to Pebble Beach, where he's played four times, with a T20 finish in 2024 being his best result. Scott is one of the tour's longest hitters, ranking 15th in driving distance in 2024, but Pebble Beach's shorter layout favors accuracy, an area where he ranked 139th in driving accuracy. Approach shots from 100-150 yards will be crucial, as 37.6% of all approach shots come from this range, and Scott ranks in the 45th percentile for greens in regulation from this distance. While Scott has the ability to get hot and take over any tournament, fantasy managers will need to carefully weigh his $7,600 DraftKings price tag.

Adam Scott Brings Extensive Presidents Cup Experience To Montreal
6 months agoAdam Scott has officially become the "old guy" at this week's Presidents Cup. The 44-year-old Australian is set to take part in his 11th career Presidents Cup in Montreal. Scott is expected to be a steadying, veteran presence for the International Team, as they are set to take on a talented, but relatively inexperienced United States squad. The Aussie won't just be a figurehead member of the team this week, as Scott closed his 2024 season in red-hot form. He notched top-10 results in four of his last five starts to finish fourth in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Don't be surprised if the veteran is a thorn in the side of the Americans at Royal Montreal.
