Jarrett Allen Out Indefinitely With Broken Finger
3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers star center Jarrett Allen (finger) is out indefinitely after fracturing his finger during Sunday's game against the Toronto Raptors. This is a crushing blow for Allen, who is in the midst of a fantastic season. He's averaging 16.1 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 67.7% from the field. The Cavaliers are currently sitting at 37-27 and will be fighting for playoff seeding over the final month of the regular season, but it's not clear at this point whether Allen will be able to rejoin the team before the postseason. With Allen out, rookie sensation Evan Mobley should have some big games in store. He already grabbed a career-high 17 boards in Sunday's game with Allen missing most of the contest. Kevin Love and Lauri Markkanen could also find themselves with a heavier workload going forward.
