Detroit Pistons shooting guards Hamidou Diallo (ankle) and Frank Jackson (back) have been given the green light to take the floor for Tuesday's game against Washington. Diallo ultimately did not miss any games due to the ankle ailment, as he is set to reclaim his role as a significant contributor among Detroit's second unit. Jackson is back in action after a five-game stint on the sidelines, with both players likely to cut into the other's DFS appeal. Diallo remains the more appealing play due to having averaged 13.9 PPG over his last 10 outings, although all Pistons are set to benefit from playing a Wizards group that ranks in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency.--Jesse Borek

Detroit Pistons guard/forward Hamidou Diallo rolled his right ankle in Monday's defeat to Portland and it's unclear if he can play in Tuesday's matchup against Washington. He was seen leaving the arena wearing a walking boot. Diallo had a busy 27-minute night against the Blazers, shooting 4-for-10 from the field en route to finishing with nine points, eight rebounds, three assists and one steal. The Pistons have already suffered a number of other injuries in recent times and it's lifted Diallo into a significant role in the rotation. Across his last nine appearances, the 24-year-old has averaged 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Detroit Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. The 24-year-old was a late addition to the injury report due to a non-COVID related illness. This is a shame because Diallo was playing very well over the last two weeks. He has been providing 6th-round value in 9-cat formats over that span. His minutes will likely be split up by Alec Burks on the other guards in the rotation. That being said, Diallo's absence won't have much of an impact in fantasy hoops.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Detroit Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo will be back with the organization next season. As expected, the Pistons have decided to exercise their $5.2 million team option on Diallo. He has been a solid piece for Detroit, so the team wants to keep him around. It'll be interesting to see how they split up the playing time with multiple young guards on the roster. Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey are expected to play heavy minutes with Killian Hayes and Diallo getting the backup minutes. Diallo should have fairly decent streaming value, assuming he can carve out a role for himself next season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Detroit Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo is likely to remain with the team for at least one more season. Diallo was traded to Detroit mid-way through the 2020 campaign. He has played fairly well and is expected to be part of the young core in Detroit. The team option is worth $5.2 million, so very affordable for what Diallo brings to the court. He doesn't bring much in terms of fantasy value. However, he is a solid defender and could be a long term piece for this organization.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
