Paul Casey Heads To Florida For Bay Hill Challenge
3 years agoPaul Casey (OWGR No. 27) will look to build on a T15 finish at The Genesis Invitational when he tees it up in Florida this week. The 44-year-old finished near the top of the pack in strokes gained on approach last time out, and he is consistently one of the best ball-strikers on tour. The Englishman generally enjoys a tough test, and while he has played the Arnold Palmer Invitational sparingly throughout his long career, he did finish 10th last year and ninth in 2016. Casey does not appear to be slowing down at all despite getting up there in age, and fantasy gamers should feel confident plugging him into their lineups this week.

Paul Casey Withdraws From PGA Championship
3 years agoPaul Casey has a way of performing well in the bigger tournaments. However, he never did start The Masters in April and has only played a handful of events since the Ryder Cup last September. As for the European Tour, Casey has not competed much there either. It does seem that Casey's back is acting up again as the Englishman was forced to withdraw from the PGA Championship. There is no word on how serious the back issue is but this is a troublesome sign.

Paul Casey Facing Injury Concerns At Wells Fargo
3 years agoPaul Casey withdrew from both the WGC Matchplay and the Masters in the past month and a half, citing back spasms. News broke on the ground today that Paul Casey has also WD from the Wednesday Pro Am at TPC Potomac. Despite being a solid course fit, the Englishman is too banged up to trust at the moment and there is no guarantee that even if he tees it up, he will be able to complete all four rounds.

Paul Casey Battling Back Spasms
3 years agoPaul Casey (back) finished third at The Players Championship, improving his strokes gained in putting by nine strokes compared to his disappointing weekend at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. However, Casey's putter is the least of his concerns, as he is currently battling back spasms that forced him to withdraw from the Match Play two weeks ago. Casey has five career top-10 finishes at Augusta, but his recent health concerns overshadow any golf-related statistics heading into the first major of the season.

Paul Casey Hoping For Better Luck At WGC Match Play
3 years agoPaul Casey (OWGR No. 24) is back in the field this week at Austin Country Club after withdrawing his name from last week's Valspar Championship. The 44-year-old cannot be blamed for wanting a break after a bit of bad luck led to a third-place finish at the weather-delayed The Players Championship. Gamers should feel confident playing the Englishman this week, as his withdrawal did not appear to be injury-related. Casey ranks 37th this season in strokes gained tee-to-green and has been phenomenal with his irons. That solid current form should be helpful in match play this week, a format that Casey has found plenty of success in throughout his career.
