Cody Martin Will Be Available On Sunday
Cody Martin (back) will be available for Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Martin had previously been listed as doubtful for the game, but he was upgraded about an hour before tip-off. He is dealing with lower back tightness. We may see Martin's minutes limited in Sunday's game, especially given the fact that the team is playing the 14-46 Pistons. If Martin is indeed limited in the game, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Miles Bridges could see increased minutes.

Cody Martin Out Through The All-Star Break
Cody Martin (hernia) will not debut for his new team until after the All-Star break. Phoenix will be in action twice before the break, playing out a back-to-back set on Tuesday and Wednesday. Martin hasn't played since Jan. 24 due to a sports hernia. Before moving to Phoenix, Martin averaged 7.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 24.8 minutes with the Charlotte Hornets. It's unlikely he will get near these numbers with his new team, as there are now a lot more bodies ahead of Martin on the depth chart.

Cody Martin Headed To Phoenix
Cody Martin along with guard Vasilije Micic and a 2026 second-round pick from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Jusuf Nurkic and a first-round pick. While the trade was mostly about moving Nurkic, Martin is an interesting addition to the Suns. The 29-year-old has been limited to 39 games this season but has produced 7.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals in his 24.8 minutes per game. He has shown good upside in higher usage situations, and he could work his way into a meaningful role in the Suns' second unit, but his role is very undefined at this point.

Cody Martin Inactive For Friday Against Clippers
Cody Martin (abdomen) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Martin will miss his fourth contest in a row due to a sports hernia injury. Josh Green (foot) is listed as probable for this evening, so if he can suit up, he will take a large amount of Martins minutes on the floor. Josh Okogie and DaQuan Jeffries could also see expanded roles versus the Clippers.
