DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 2/22/22 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 2/19/22. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have another big slate with 12 games tonight. We get the festivities started with four games at 7pm Eastern. We have Florida hosting Arkansas, A&M hosting Georgia, Tennessee hosting Missouri, and Iowa hosting Michigan State to break up the SEC flavor.

We get some Big 12(10) sprinkled in an hour later with Texas Tech hosting Oklahoma. Northwestern hosts Nebraska, Pitt hosts Miami, and Villanova heads to Storrs as well. The 9pm hour brings Boise State hosting San Diego, Vandy hosting Alabama, and the Sunflower Showdown in Lawrence. We finish this slate off with Nevada hosting UNLV. Let's see them get the Fremont Cannon into the Lawlor Center! This promises to be an interesting slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/22/22 starting at 7pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Nijel Pack, Kansas State ($8,500)

Pack is literally the only reason that the Wildcats hung with the mighty Jayhawks in the Little Apple back in January. He racked up a season-best 52.5 DraftKings points in that effort as the Wildcats fell three points short of the landmark upset. It's going to be tougher in Lawrence, but Pack has at least 32 DraftKings points in seven straight games and seven of the eight since the Kansas game. He has taken over this team. It may be risky to run a guy at Kansas, but they couldn't guard him the first time around and may still be without Remy Martin in this one. Pack's not topping 50 again, but he should be able to keep his streak going.

Kario Oquendo, Georgia ($7,200)

Most lineups are going to include two or more of the high-priced guards. We can get a little different with Oquendo. He put up 29.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting with the Aggies in Athens. He's not known as one of the most consistent guys on the court, but Oquendo has at least 24 DraftKings points in every February game. The consistency appears to be there now. Oquendo should have no issues keeping that streak going tonight.

Boo Buie, Northwestern ($6,700)

The Big Ten(14) can be a bear, but Nebraska isn't even a cub. The Wildcats beat Nebraska in Lincoln by 24 points about two weeks ago. Buie led the way with 27 actual points and 39.25 DraftKings points, his best game of the year. Buie is mostly a scorer, so I usually leave him alone for DFS purposes. Not against Nebraska. This team gives up a ton of points. It's what they do. Buie has a good chance at another ceiling game here. Chase Audige is worth a look as well if you're stacking. He put up 29.5 in the first meeting with Nebraska.

Zakai Zeigler, Tennessee ($6,100)

Zeigler has at least 20 DraftKings points in six straight, the low point coming in one of the ugliest college basketball games I've seen this year with the Vols only scoring 48 points against Arkansas on Saturday. It's encouraging that Zeigler still had a solid game for DFS purposes when the entire team struggled, yet still only lost by ten. Things should open up more for the Vols against a lackluster Missouri team.

Tyson Degenhart, Boise State ($4,900)

Just because Boise isn't a name in basketball doesn't mean that they can't play basketball. The Broncos and Aztecs played arguably the worst college basketball game of the shot clock era on January 22 when the two teams scored a combined 79 points. Combined! Despite that offensive disaster on both sides, Degenhart put up a solid 20.5 DraftKings points. He has only been below that mark (by one whole point) once since then. If either team musters a modicum of offense in this one, Degenhart should easily clear 5x value. That's uncommon in college circles.

Also consider: Scotty Pippen Jr, Vanderbilt ($8,800); Ochai Agbaji, Kansas ($8,600); JD Notae, Arkansas ($8,300); R.J. Cole, Connecticut ($7,500); Jermaine Samuels, Villanova ($6,700); Jordan Goldwire, Oklahoma ($6,400); Kenan Blackshear, Nevada ($5,800); Trevon Brazile, Missouri ($5,100); Ithiel Horton, Pittsburgh ($4,800)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Keegan Murray, Iowa ($9,800)

It's getting hard to fade Murray under any circumstances. He has not had under 29 DraftKings points in any game this season and has been over 30 in all but two games. That's the kind of floor I want when spending 20% of my salary on one player. Murray has at least 42 DraftKings points in four of the last five games, so he's getting stronger in Big Ten(14) play. The only team that held him under that mark was a good Ohio State team. I'll take my chances with Murray against Sparty.

Jaylin Williams, Arkansas ($8,400)

This is going to be a tougher matchup with Florida, but Williams put up 41 DraftKings points despite his team scoring only 58 total points on Saturday. Florida is capable of uglying up a game just like Tennessee did. It almost seems like Williams is better suited for those type of games. He has four consecutive double-doubles and hasn't been under 26 DraftKings points since the restart. Florida may limit Williams, but I don't see them stopping him.

Henry Coleman III, Texas A&M ($6,500)

Coleman has been an absolute disaster over the last two games, spending most of each game in foul trouble and not being aggressive on either end of the court. In fact, he has more fouls (seven) that points (four) in those two games. The competition gets easier tonight. Coleman had his best game of the season against Georgia in Athens on January 4 when he put up 23 points and seven rebounds en route to 42.25 DraftKings points. I expect a bounceback from Coleman here. I was hoping I would be able to get him a little cheaper though.

Jalen Hill, Oklahoma ($5,100)

The Sooners looked to be on the way up when they blasted the Red Raiders in Norman on February 9. Since then, they lost a heartbreaker at the Phog, lost another heartbreaker at home to Texas, and got destroyed by Iowa State. This team is in a tailspin right now. The only constant has been Hill. It started with the Texas game. Hill has 91.25 DraftKings points in those four games. He is the only Oklahoma player that I would trust right now and even that it tentative. However, he's putting up good numbers for the price on a team that isn't getting much production from anywhere else.

Keshad Johnson, San Diego State ($4,200)

Don't pay much attention to that first game against Boise for either team. Both offenses can't possibly be as bad as they were in that game. Let's stick to the present. Johnson has at least 18 DraftKings points over his last seven games, playing at least 30 minutes in four of the last five. He is clearly trending upwards, but it appears as though DraftKings hasn't bothered to adjust his price since the last time he was on a slate back on February 4. He's a great value tonight.

Also consider: Colin Castleton, Florida ($8,800); Matt Bradley, San Diego State ($7,500); David McCormack, Kansas ($7,300); Pete Nance, Northwestern ($6,800); Eric Dixon, Villanova ($6,400); Nathan Mensah, San Diego State ($5,800); Donovan Williams, UNLV ($5,000)
