3 years agoScottie Scheffler picked up his first PGA Tour win last week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, defeating Patrick Cantlay in a playoff. How the 25-year-old will react to that win remains an unknown. On one hand, the Texas grad is probably less prepared this week after victory celebrations and the emotional high of securing his first PGA Tour victory. Conversely, Scheffler enters this week playing phenomenal golf, and once again the course should set up perfectly for him. He finished T20 in this event last year and T30 in 2020.
