Van Jefferson Good To Go For Super Bowl LVI
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee) has been removed from the team's injury report and he is set to suit up for Super Bowl LVI against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jefferson has been dealing with a knee injury since before the NFC Championship game. He was able to play in the game, but caught just two of his five targets for nine yards. Jefferson is the clear No. 3 receiver on the Rams behind Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr. He actually slightly out-snapped Odell Beckham Jr. 67 to 66 in the NFC Championship game while Ben Skowronek was a distant fourth on the team in receiver snaps with just 21. However, Kupp and Beckham should dominate targets in the Super Bowl, making Jefferson nothing more than a risky touchdown-or-bust play.
