C.J. Uzomah Notches Limited Practice Session Thursday
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah (knee) was able to practice in a limited capacity Thursday, a step in the right direction as it pertains to suiting up for Sunday's Super Bowl LVI. Although limited, the practice marks the first for Uzomah since sustaining a sprained left MCL during the AFC Championship Game. Having previously expressed optimism that he would be cleared to play against the Rams, Uzomah would be a key pass-catching weapon for Joe Burrow, having combined to make 13 catches for 135 yards in Cincinnati's first two playoff games earlier this postseason. Drew Sample would likely step into a larger offensive role if Uzomah is unable to play, but he would remain a tricky DFS asset due to his lack of prior production. Uzomah's status remains up in the air, so check back over the weekend for further developments as they become available.
