Thaddeus Young Lands With Raptors At Trade Deadline
3 years agoSan Antonio Spurs small/power forward Thaddeus Young has reportedly been dealt to the Toronto Raptors during Thursday's trade deadline, giving him an opportunity to crack a rotation with regularity. Young played a career-low 14.2 minutes across 26 outings (one start) for the Spurs this year, averaging 6.1 points, 3.6 boards and 2.3 assists per game. He figures to be a contributor among the Raptors second unit, although whether or not he garners enough minutes for season-long viability remains unclear. Young is set to become a free agent at season's end.
