3 years agoJason Day closed out last weekend with a T3 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open. The Aussie is rounding into form entering one of his favorite events of the PGA tour season. Day has finished inside the top 11 in his last seven starts at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The former world No. 1 golfer gained 3.9 strokes putting last week and 1.2 strokes on approach. He also ranks fifth in the field in strokes gained total on courses less than 7,200 yards over his last 24 rounds. This should be extremely beneficial since all three courses in the rotation this week play at less than 7,100 yards.
