I am excited to announce that I will be providing a premium spreadsheet that can be accessed through the link below. Here you will find updated stats for the particular tournament - all sortable and weighable when you make a copy of your own under the file tab. The purpose of this piece is to provide an area where you can not only research the daily proceedings for DFS Showdown strategy but also potentially find outright additions or daily head-to-head wagers to add to your card after round 1.
I have included some advanced metrics that should pinpoint golfers that have underachieved or overachieved on a particular day and have added a feature that allows you to go back in and weigh your pre-tournament research. For the sake of how the sheet is set up behind the paywall, you will have to readjust your rankings once again in tab number 1 if you would like to incorporate that particular feature back into your daily research.

We have a ton of different ways to try and weigh the categories. Get creative with yours and see what you like best! Less on the total score and more on pre-tournament or any other in-tournament stat would get a better gauge of Showdown.

Joaquin Niemann -110 over Billy Horschel (DraftKings)
We are dealing with limited data here, which makes me slightly worried about an overcorrection to Billy Horschel's total in my model since his results were so poor today on the South, but this is going to have more to do with Joaquin Niemann's untapped potential than trying to pick on Horschel's one questionable round.
Niemann gained 3.53 shots ball-striking to the field at the South on Wednesday. That total placed him inside of the top-10 of all scorers on the venue, but a mediocre DAYYYYYY (it was anything but mediocre from the GOAT) at the North left a lot to be desired after he could only bypass half the participants playing the track. Stats like par-five scoring and things of that nature helped propel Horschel at his one go-around at the North, but his ranking of 120th on long/challenging courses, 76th in ball-striking and 130th in weighted proximity on iron shots over 150 yards could prove disastrous for a second straight attempt at tackling the track.
