Chez Reavie Looks To Bounce Back at the Farmers Insurance Open
3 years agoChez Reavie enters the week off of a missed cut at the American Express, a tournament where he has failed to make the weekend three consecutive times. Reavie will hope things are better at the Farmers Insurance Open, as he hasn't played it since 2016, but in theory, his irons should translate onto any track. Over his last 50 rounds, the American is 12th in strokes gained approach and is also inside top-30 in both strokes gained ball-striking and strokes gained tee to green. Reavie's short game always holds him back; however, his numbers here aren't as bad as you'd think - gaining strokes around the green and on the putting surface in multiple weeks over his last five starts. Reavie's off the tee game is what held him back at the American Express, but he can get back on track this week and possesses the potential to finish inside the top-20.
