Giga Chikadze Not Able To Do Enough In Saturday's Main Event
3 years agoThe level of competition reared its ugly head for Giga Chikadze's fans in Saturday's main event, as he was taken down by Calvin Kattar in all five rounds, according to all three judges, losing the decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-44). In 25 minutes of action, Chikadze landed 128 significant strikes but absorbed 144 from Kattar. He did a great job of pushing the pace and pressuring with his striking, but Kattar was there at every turn to take the advantage. Don't give up on Chikadze for future fantasy rosters, though. He is a dynamic striker and is still a top-tier prospect that can show out in 2022.
