ANALYSIS: First start for Brandon Clark, first loss of the season for Memphis on Friday. But no, don't give that much if any importance, folks. Steven Adams came back to the rotation but that didn't take the start from Clarke's hands as Adams was eased into the game rhythm by Memphis. If we're honest, it sucked a bit to watch the forward start and put on a kind-of-dud with just a 9-1-1-1-2 packed line on 20 minutes of playing time compared to his exploits of late. But there is nothing saying Clarke is about to lose his appeal in fantasy leagues, far from it.
Clarke's prior eight games to Friday's starting one had been absolutely incredible. If we build a line out of the matches he played in that span he'd have averaged a ridiculous 14-8-1 with 1.6 BPG on top of that. And that is playing just an average of 24 MPG off the pine. Crank it up to a per-36 basis and you'd be looking at a silly 21-12 dub-dubbing average with 2.4 blocks a pop. Sweet baby Jesus.
You'd think the arrival of Adams should impact (negatively, if only a bit) Clarke after the former missed four of the five past games. But that might not entirely be the case. Clarke is the no. 2 to JJJ and Adams' no. 1s as the latter two will keep racking up starts, and Clarke has put up numbers while coming off the pine. Grab Clarke if you need points and boards, and enjoy the sky-high blocking and shooting percentages (from the field, nothing else) too as Clarke is hitting 66.6% of his shots since the start of the 2022 calendar year, and 64.3% on the full season.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
