Adrian Peterson Wants To Keep Playing
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Adrian Peterson (back) would like to keep playing and doesn't want his career to end the way it did this year with his injury. Peterson finished the year on the Seahawks practice squad Injured Reserve due to a lower back injury. The 36-year-old will be back on the open market this offseason and will be looking to latch on elsewhere if he can prove he's fully healthy. In four games with the Seahawks and Titans, Peterson carried the ball 38 times for 98 yards (2.6 yards per carry) and two touchdowns, adding four catches for eight yards. While it's certainly possible that AD can work himself into shape to play again in 2022, it's clear that he doesn't have much left in the tank at this point in his career. If he joins another club, Peterson will mainly be providing veteran depth.
