ANALYSIS: Are we sure Cedrick Wilson is going to be a WR2/WR3 play next weekend? Hard to say. Do we believe in his chances? You bet. The Cowboys are coming off a losing effort against Arizona in which Dallas lost starter WR Michael Gallup to injury. Next man up: Cedrick Wilson with the fantastic receiving day and even a nice quarterbacking play!
Wilson finished W17 with a replication of his season-high PPR tally (from Week 8) hitting 18.7 FP against the Cards. He did so going a perfect 6-for-6 on receptions for a total of 35 yards and a touchdown, his fourth on the year. Not happy enough with that, Wilson also got a lateral from QB Dak Prescott than he then turned into a 31 pass to Tony Pollard. Before this explosion, Wilson had only been able to hit a high of 3.8 PPR points in the prior three weeks and had finished with double-digit fantasy points just three times this campaign.
With Gallup out, Wilson will most probably come back to a 60%-to-80% snap share in Week 18. In games with at least a 50% snap share, Wilson has gotten to an average of nearly 10 PPR points per game. The floor is low, but with ample playing time and opportunities available come Sunday that floor should rise to around 10 PPR points to go with an almost-20-PPR ceiling. The only questions is how much Dallas will push next weekend given they've already clinched the division and are good for a nice postseason debut.
