ANALYSIS: The Rockets started the year thinking about stinking so they applied a Hard-Tank model not giving Gordon a single chance at starting games until Nov. 17, 12 games into the season already. Since that game, though, Eric G. has started all games he's played at either the point or the wing, and that means he's racked up 20 starting calls straight. And although he's been positively affected by that change in role, the Rockets have kept the tanking up. In other words, a win-win situation for all parties involved.
Since that first start back in mid-November, Gordon has put up a 15-1-4 per-game line on his 31 MPG of playing time. He's also scored at least one triple in seven consecutive games, and 27 of the past 28 (!!!). In fact, Gordon has only missed on finding three-point pay dirt in two games all year long. That's borderline insane, folks. Gordon is making 2.3 3PM per game shooting them at a sound 44.7% clip and hoisting 5.2 of them per game (pretty much half of all of his 10.5 FGA).
While all shooting cats are Gordon's bread and butter and that's widely known and has zero surprises to it, but he's also putting up solid numbers in terms of assists (3.5 APG on the year, 4.4 on his current starting streak of games) and has been able to lower his turnovers from 2.6 TOPG in the first 24 games of the year to just 1.3 in the past two weeks of play never fumbling more than twice in a single game. The shooting has also sky-rocketed of late with EG hitting shots from the floor at a 58.3% clip for two weeks straight and never falling below double-digit points in that seven-game span.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
