Clyde Edwards-Helaire's X-Rays Come Back Negative
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (collarbone) will undergo an MRI on Monday after initial X-rays came back negative, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The second-year back accumulated just 10 touches, 31 scrimmage yards and a touchdown prior to exiting Sunday's game. In his place, running backs Darrel Williams and Derrick Gore combined for 189 yards. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on updates regarding Edwards-Helaire over the next 24 hours. If he suits up against the Bengals in Week 17, he'd be a low-end RB2. Otherwise, Williams and Gore will likely split the work out of the backfield.
