OwnersBox Quarterback Picks
On OwnersBox, you have the option of starting two quarterbacks as this is a Superflex contest.
Matthew Stafford, LAR ($8,000) - at MIN
We are going to pay up at quarterback this week as Stafford has one of the best matchups on the board. He will be facing a Vikings defense that has allowed an average of 252 passing yards and two touchdowns per game to quarterbacks over the previous four weeks. Stafford has also averaged nearly 23 fantasy points per game over his previous four games.
Davis Mills, HOU ($5,400) - vs LAC
Since we are paying up for Stafford, we will need to find someone less expensive in our Superflex spot, and that guy is Davis Mills this week. While the Chargers have been solid against the pass for most of the season, they are currently allowing the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the previous four weeks by allowing an average of over 21 points per game. The Chargers are heavily favored in this game as well, which means Mills will have plenty of passing opportunities to try and keep pace.
OwnersBox Running Back Picks
Clyde Edwards-Helaire, KC ($6,200) - vs PIT
CEH is in a great spot this week with the Chiefs being favored at home against the Steelers. Over the previous four weeks, the Steelers have allowed an average of nearly 35 fantasy points per game to the running back position, which ranks dead last in the league. CEH has also seen double-digit carries in two of his previous three games and has also seen at least three targets in each of those games while averaging over 13 fantasy points per game.
Miles Sanders, PHI ($5,500) - vs NYG
Sanders is coming off back-to-back solid performances in which he is averaging nearly 20 fantasy points per game. He has seen an average of 21 carries per game over those two games and it appears that the Eagles are going to entrust him to carry the load down the stretch as they attempt to make the playoffs. He gets a matchup against the Giants this week and they have allowed an average of nearly 26 fantasy points per game to running backs in 2021, which ranks ninth-worst in the league. The Eagles are also favored in this one, so he should see plenty of work late in the game to salt away the clock.
OwnersBox Wide Receiver Picks
Laquon Treadwell, JAC ($4,900) - at NYJ
I would have never thought I would be putting Treadwell in this article, but his volume can no longer be ignored at his price point. Over his previous three games, Treadwell has been targeted a total of 20 times and is averaging nearly 11 fantasy points per game over that span.
Odell Beckham Jr., LAR ($5,600) - at MIN
While I would love to pair Stafford up with Cooper Kupp, the pricing is not conducive to that this week. OBJ has performed well in LA, however, as he has averaged over six targets per game over the previous four games and has also scored double-digit fantasy points in two of those three games. He will be facing a Vikings' secondary that has allowed an average of over 42 fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the previous four weeks, which ranks second-worst in the league. He should have plenty of opportunities to do damage in this one.
