Alex Collins Limited Again Thursday
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins (abdomen) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Collins missed the Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Rams while on the COVID-19 list, but he's back now and seems likely to be active in Week 16 against the Chicago Bears. The 27-year-old will most likely return to a complementary backfield role behind Rashaad Penny, who has been Seattle's lead back each of the last two games. Collins wasn't productive at all when he was seeing the majority of backfield touches earlier this year, and he's averaged a weak 3.8 yards per carry on 108 rushing attempts in 11 games this season. Penny is the only back worth considering for starting lineups on this Seahawks team at the moment.
