Below you will find our fantasy football injuries report for wide receivers in Week 16. The injury statuses for various NFL wide receivers are up in the air for Week 16 including Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, D.J. Moore, Jarvis Landry and Tyler Lockett.
With the fantasy football playoffs going on, and NFL teams fighting for their own playoff positions, these are some key wide receiver injuries to keep track of throughout the week.
Mike Evans Injury Update
UPDATE: Mike Evans has officially been ruled out for Week 16.
Mike Evans was forced from the Week 15 game with a hamstring injury, and so far has not been able to practice this week. He is being labeled as week-to-week, and is unlikely to play in Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers. Fantasy managers should be making alternative plans.
D.J. Moore Injury Update
D.J. Moore has been limited all week with a hamstring injury and is expected to be a game-time decision for the Week 16 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Be on the lookout to see if he is able to get in any practice on Friday. Robby Anderson would make for a decent streamer if Moore is out.
Jarvis Landry Injury Update
After missing Week 15 and being on the COVID-19 list, Jarvis Landry will be activated from the COVID list on Friday. Landry is expected to make his return and start in Week 16 along with Baker Mayfield and Austin Hooper. Fire him up as a low-end WR3 option, especially in PPR leagues.
Tyler Lockett Injury Update
Tyler Lockett was forced to miss last week's game after being placed on the COVID-19 list. On Thursday has was officially activated from the COVID list and will make his return in Week 16 against the Chicago Bears. If you've made it this far with Lockett, you're starting him this week. He should see plenty of targets.
Tyreek Hill Injury Update
UPDATE: On Saturday afternoon it was reported that Tyreek Hill has officially cleared the league's COVID-19 protocols. He will be activated off the COVID list and play on Sunday.
Tyreek Hill has been placed on the COVID-19 list, and is questionable to play in Week 16 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Travis Kelce is also on the COVID list, potentially putting the Chiefs in a very bad offensive situation. Be sure to check back for updates as Hill may be cleared to play.
Chris Godwin Injury Update
Chris Godwin was forced from last week's game with a knee injury, and was later diagnosed with a torn ACL. His season is officially over, and it's a terrible blow for both the Buccaneers offense and fantasy managers. Antonio Brown will likely see a heavy volume of passes with Mike Evans also banged up for Week 16.
