Vancouver Canucks center J.T. Miller had quite the night as he had a goal and two assists in a 5-2 road win over the San Jose Sharks. Miller added an unassisted goal late in regulation while setting up goals by Bo Horvat and Brock Boeser. Vancouver has won every game coached by Bruce Boudreau so far and Miller has nine points in that span. That brings the center up to ten goals and 32 points in 30 games. This has been more the norm than the exception in Vancouver for the forward. Miller could potentially exceed his career high of 72 points set before the pandemic.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

New York Rangers forward J.T. Miller (illness) is a game-time decision for Friday's matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Miller didn't practice on Thursday due to an illness and may have to skip his first game since rejoining the Rangers on Jan. 31. The Rangers offense has received a nice boost with the addition of Miller, who has tallied five goals and nine points in eight appearances with the team. Since the season resumed after the 4 Nations Face-Off break, Miller has accumulated five points (three goals, two assists) in three games. Arthur Kaliyev or Brennan Othmann may enter the lineup if Miller is unavailable on Friday. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New York Rangers center J.T. Miller (illness) did not participate in Thursday's practice session due to illness. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on his status leading up to their next contest on Friday evening against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 31-year-old has enjoyed a recent offensive surge, riding a three-game point streak. During this stretch, Miller has found the back of the net three times and added two helpers. Since being acquired by the Rangers earlier in February, Miller has tallied nine points through eight contests. He has tallied an impressive 29 hits and logged 14 shots on goal. If Miller were to sit out during Friday's contest, Mika Zibanejad will likely take his spot on the second line and play alongside Will Cuylle and Chris Krieder. Jonny Brodzinski could also have an increased role in Friday's contest as well.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

According to Frank Seravalli of DailyFaceoff.com, the New York Rangers have acquired center J.T. Miller from the Vancouver Canucks. The Rangers sent Filip Chytil and Victor Mancini a conditional first-round selection in the 2025 NHL Draft. In addition, the Rangers acquired Jackson Dorrington and Erik Brannstrom. Miller began his career in New York after being selected with the 15th-overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft. Through his first five seasons with the Blueshirts (278 games), Millers tallied 132 points (59 goals, 73 helpers). He began his sixth season with the Rangers but was eventually traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning that season. After tallying a career-high 103 points in 2023, Miller has taken a step back this season, scoring just nine goals with 26 assists. Fantasy managers should expect Miller to have a key role in the New York offense. He is expected to suit up on Saturday afternoon to face the Boston Bruins.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller (personal) will return to the lineup on Thursday against Florida. He has missed 10 games while dealing with a personal issue. Miller has averaged slightly below a point per game this season, recording six goals and 10 assists in 17 appearances. We should see him in a top-six role and on the first power-play unit. Miller's return will likely impact Pius Suter's usage. Before exiting the lineup, Miller had a productive run of five points in four games, but he might be a bit rusty initially after missing several weeks of action.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
